Easter Frequently asked questions:

What should I wear? We always have a few suits, and a few shorts, but most fall somewhere in between. You’'ll see a lot of business casual. Dress for the weather, consider bringing sunglasses, and be comfortable.

What’s the service like? It’s the classic Anglican Easter service, expressed in a casual way. It’s a great mix of solid tradition and contemporary energy. We think you’ll like it.

Music? It’s contemporary, led by a band.

Child care? nope…kids sit with parents. We’ll have coloring sheets on hand, and there’s room for kids to roam around near the back if someone gets antsy.

Wheelchair access? Yes, There are no stairs required for access to the service.

Is there communion? yes

how many usually come? around 200

Will I be the only new person? Nope…not even close. The church has grown so quickly that many of us feel new anyway, and there are always lots of visitors Easter Sunday. Come be one.

What if it rains? Got that covered, literally. We’ll move the service indoors to the dining hall in Canterbury’s main building. It’s still a beautiful space, and it also overlooks the lake.

Will the service be livestreamed? yes

In our daily lives, we often want to control things: our homes, appearance, children, spouses, work and volunteer roles, choices those in our care make,  etc.. We struggle to let go, and we cling tightly to what we know.  God says, "... I will remove from them their heart of stone and give them a heart of flesh." Ezekiel 11:19.

Book Study

When: Wednesday Evenings starting January 10th - January 31st | 7:00-8:30pm

Where: The Strobeck’s Home | 1118 N. Black Acre Ct., Winter Springs

Book: “Chasing Vines” by Beth Moore (We have a limited number of books. Please email Marketing@incarnationcfl.com as soon as possible if you need a book)

“The Lord God planted a garden.”  Gen 2:8

“The reason planting is so crucial to appreciating the process is because it is spectacularly deliberate… we long for continuity; some semblance of purpose.” BM

We want anything that tells us we are on the right track.  Sometimes it just doesn’t feel that way, sometimes it feels like dots that can’t or won’t be connected.  But that is not our God.  Nothing about our existence is accidental.  Our Father is a Gardner and He plants good things.

“Out of the ground the Lord God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. “  Gen 2:9

What good thing is Our Father planting in you?

Prayer is More than Just Talking to God, Part 2

In July, we had a session exploring a variety of prayer practices that can bring new joy and intimacy to your prayer life. We looked at embodied prayer, hearing from God in creation, prayer beads, lament, breath prayers and using the Lord’s Prayer as a prayer template. On November 8th from 6:30 - 8:00 pm, we’ll be exploring more prayer practices. This will be a practical session, with opportunity to “try on” different practices and see what might spark some new ways for you to deepen your intimacy with the Father.

Exodus Study Groups

Come out for this short but exciting look at the book of Exodus

Exodus is one of the most interesting and important books in the Old Testament. Understanding it’s content is critical to understanding the way the entire Old Testament is arranged. The book is also arranged in a way that helps us understand what it looks like to be saved and sanctified…rescued by God and then re-worked by his Spirit.

Join us in the chapel in person for two special evening lectures on the book, where we will engage maps, charts and slides to understand the content of all 40 chapters.

Wednesday September 13th and 20th, 6:30pm, St Augustine chapel.

Handouts for week 1:

Exodus Structure

Also, consider joining one of our 4-week small groups, which will meet in homes every other week for four more sessions of continued study and discussion of Exodus over October and November. The first step is to let us know you are interested in joining a group…
