Welcome to the Episcopal Church of the Incarnation serving Oviedo, Winter Springs, and the University of Central Florida communities! We are located on the Episcopal Diocese of Central Florida’s Canterbury Retreat and Conference Center in the lovely wooded lakeside St. Augustine’s Chapel where we worship the Lord on Sundays at 10:15 a.m. Praise Worship Service, and our 2 p.m. Encarnation Spanish speaking worship service!
We are a vibrant, growing faith community for all those who seek a lively, enriching relationship with the Trinity of God: Almighty Father Creator, Eternal Son and Savior our Lord Jesus Christ, and our Empowering Holy Spirit.
We offer a loving, caring fellowship of believing friends; engaging and vibrant worship services offering uplifting music and powerful sermons; and programs to enrich the lives of individuals and families! Our Sunday Spiritual Formation Hour at 9 a.m.on Sundays at Canterbury RCC offers an adult Pastor’s Class, Sunday School for children (ages 5yrs to 5th grade), and a Youth Group Class (grades 6th-12th).
Our 10:15 a.m. Worship Service is a warm, inspiring service offering a Children’s sermon, excellent sermons and uplifting music, healing prayers at the altar rail, birthdayand anniversary blessings and Holy Eucharist Communion for all baptized Christians.
We have a very lively Spanish speaking worship service at 2 p.m. that offers excellent music and sermons by Gladys Rodriquez (former TV/Film star in Puerto Rico, now training for the priesthood) and diocesan Hispanic chair, Padre Jose Rodriquez!
We have a great college age group known as Canterbury Club which meets Mondays at 7:30 p.m. at Canterbury RCC, and a post college age Young Adults ministry!
There is a wonderful Ladies Bible Study group that meets Thursdays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Chapel, open to all to join! Our Men’s Fellowship is ecumenical on Tuesdays at 7:30 a.m..
There are many other engaging ministry programs like our 4th Friday service at Tremont Center at 10 a.m., our “Food on Fourth” Sundays ingathering to support the H.O.P.E. team for the needy and homeless, and lots of Special Events like our Holiday Festival and Cookie Walk in November, St. Valentine’s Dinner and a Show in February, Annual Blessing of the Animals on St. Francis’ Day on Oct. 4th, and so much more!
