Easter Frequently asked questions:

What should I wear? We always have a few suits, and a few shorts, but most fall somewhere in between. You’'ll see a lot of business casual. Dress for the weather, consider bringing sunglasses, and be comfortable.

Easter egg hunt? yes, we hide 1000 eggs, and the kids go for it right after the service. There are several different collection areas separated by ages. Bring a basket or bag to collect with.

What’s the service like? It’s the classic Anglican Easter service, expressed in a casual way. It’s a great mix of solid tradition and contemporary energy. We think you’ll like it.

Music? It’s contemporary, led by a band

Child care? no…kids sit with parents. We’ll have coloring sheets on hand, and there’s room for kids to roam around near the back if someone gets antsy.

Wheelchair access? yes, the service takes place on a paved patio terrace. There are no stairs required for access to the service.

Is there communion? yes

how many usually come? around 200

Will I be the only new person? not even close. The church has grown so quickly that many of us feel new anyway, and there are always lots of visitors Easter Sunday. Come be one.

What if it rains? Got that covered, literally. The service has been moved indoors to the dining hall in Canterbury’s main building. It’s still a beautiful space, and it also overlooks the lake.

Will the service be live-streamed? yes
