The season of Advent begins December 1st. Advent is a month long time of preparation before the Christmas season begins. It’s a tremendous opportunity to reflect on Jesus’ first advent (arrival) 2,000 years ago, his advent with us each Sunday in worship through Word and Sacrament, and his future advent when he will return in glory “to judge the living and the dead” as we say in the Apostles’ Creed.
Making an Advent wreath is a great way to enter into this season with a heart of expectation. Join us and bring a friend!
